Call 1 (888) 973-5924People see panels; the work is mostly everything around them. A proper installation covers surface prep, the moisture barrier, flashing at every window and door, the siding itself, and the trim that finishes it. In Valentine, NE, rain and humidity test every one of those layers, so we build each wall as a complete system rather than a skin of panels.
Installation suits new construction, room additions, and houses stripped bare for a redo. Before any work starts, we map out materials and timing so you can see the whole plan on paper.
A Common MistakeWhen installers hurry, the hidden steps are the first to get squeezed. Housewrap goes on wrinkled, flashing is skipped around small penetrations, and nails miss the studs. Nothing looks wrong on day one. Then a few wet seasons pass, and moisture works into the framing. We slow down on exactly those steps because they cost little to do right and a great deal to fix later.
We walk the house, measure each wall, and note windows, doors, and anything that affects layout.
Together we choose a siding type and color, and you get a written proposal showing price and schedule.
Walls are cleaned up, any soft or damaged areas are addressed, and the weather barrier goes on tight and flat.
Windows, doors, vents, and corners receive proper flashing so water is steered out instead of in.
Courses are laid level from the starter line, fastened per the maker's instructions, and finished neatly at each corner.
You inspect the finished exterior with the crew lead, and we sweep the property for leftover scraps and nails.
We install vinyl and fiber cement along with other common cladding options. During your visit, we describe how each performs and what it takes to maintain.
Scheduling depends on our current calendar and the weather, but we give you a specific start date in writing once you approve the proposal.
A properly sealed wall with a good weather barrier reduces drafts, which can help comfort. Some products add insulation as well, and we can discuss those options.
